Recap of May

May turned out to be just as great as I had hoped it would be! The weather has been quite warm, about 80 degrees and I am loving it!  I used to hate summer and hot weather, I'm not sure what changed but I just love being able to go outside wearing shorts and a tee shirt and not shiver. We'll see if I'm still loving summer by the time August rolls around though ;)

The most exciting thing about May is that I graduated!  I didn't go to the ceremony (It's like 6 hours long!), so it doesn't really feel real yet. But this past May has been the first month in years that I have not been in class it all. I have always taken summer classes so my longest break was only about three weeks. Also at the end of last month everyone in my company got put on part time so the amount of free time I have now is great!  Although my paychecks being cut in half is not so great, so it evens out I guess. :P But that means I have had plenty of time to do whatever I want, so here are so photos of what I have been up to this past month!

I've done plenty of gardening! We've got our garden beds pretty much finished, so now we can just sit back and watch them grow.

I have spent an inordinate amount of time staring at my vegetable plants

And even more time building a fortress around my vegetables to keep this guy out!

My strawberry plant grew a bunch of berries, which tasted wonderful in my morning cereal!

I've continued to be a baking fool and made these misshapen baguettes the other day.

We took a trip to the mountains and the second most exciting thing happened this month; my camera fixed itself!

So I bought him a new lens to celebrate :) (Ignore my dead plant in the background...)

Hope everyone else had a great month as well!
