What I Wore

This is one of two nice winter skirts I found at the thrift store the other day, which I was quite excited about. I always seem to fall into a fashion rut in the winter consisting of a sweater, jeans and boots combo, because I'm cold and too lazy to think about layering things. It's not even officially winter yet and I have already started to fall into that rut, so I am trying to snap out of it fast!

So, does anybody else have a harder time putting outfits together in the winter?

  3. I do have a hard time putting them together! Mainly because I'm scared that if I layer too much I'll look a little chunkier. So it's a very delicate process, ahaa!

However, you did a fantastic job. I love the plaid and red together. Super chic.

  6. i LOVE red with black! there's something just so effortlessly classy about it. I don't know what it is, but i'm in an outfit and sewing rut right now two! I'm trying to snap out of it as well, and also just trying to go with comfort, even though i have to dress up sometimes. Like this outfit here, leggings and a skirt, warm and comfortable and also looks nice. I also find that pinterest helps give some inspiration at times too, so i might browse around there for a while!
